Nikhil Gupta

Nikhil Gupta is the Director of Hotels and Car Rental at Skyscanner. Based in Edinburgh, Skyscanner is the biggest global online travel marketplace in the world. It’s a place where people are inspired to plan and book direct from millions of travel options at the best prices. Skyscanner was recently acquired by CTrip. Nik is responsible for the overall performance of Skyscanner’s hotel and car rental business.

 

Prior to Skyscanner Nik was the owner and Board member of BDL Hotels, UK’s largest hotel development and management company with over 60 Hotels in its portfolio. In this role, Nik was responsible for all commercial activity of the company - overseeing distribution, sales, marketing, reservation centres and revenue management. As a hotel owner and franchisee of both InterContinental Hotel and Wyndham Hotels, Nik was appointed Vice Chairman of IHG Owners Global Distribution & Revenue Committee, Chairman of IHG’s UK Marketing Forum and Chairman of Wyndham Hotels UK Marketing Group.

 

Nik has also worked with IHG in Sri Lanka, Oberoi Hotels in India and Fairmont in USA.
