As Director, Digital Acquisition at Avis Budget Group (ABG),
Alex Sutton oversees paid digital media strategy across display, video, search,
and affiliate marketing for Avis, Budget, Budget Truck, and Payless. He is responsible for maximizing the ROI of campaigns
that drive incremental in-market renters to ABG’s owned properties where they
can book direct. Prior to Avis Budget
Group Alex managed traditional and digital acquisition for the MY M&M’S
division of Mars, Inc. and has over 9 years of client-side direct and brand marketing
experience. Alex applies a structured
test and learn approach to digital marketing leveraging consumer insights from
over 150 digital a/b and multivariate media tests in the optimization of
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of
Maryland and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business –
Go Terps and Go Blue!
