Astrid N. Emmanuelli Ruiz

Astrid N. Emmanuelli Ruiz has over eight years of social media marketing experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism in Television from the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. After graduation, Astrid worked as the social media manager of the ratings record-breaking and award-winning TV show in Spain, “Encarcelados.” Before joining Discover Puerto Rico, she worked at La Concha Resort for four years, solidifying the brand’s social media presence with innovative and trendsetting campaigns, content, and initiatives. She received medals from the worldwide hospitality brand Marriott International in this role. In 2021, Astrid was promoted from social media coordinator to Discover Puerto Rico’s social media manager.

In 2022, she was recognized as one of the 2022 Emerging Tourism Stars at the eTourism Summit. Astrid’s expertise includes brand voice and content creation, community management, copywriting, activations creation and execution, and live streaming.
