Born and raised in Minnesota, Emma has always had wanderlust in her blood. That desire has lead her across Europe, the States and then to Airbnb. She’s worked in several customer-centric fields, including the medical field.
Her love of Airbnb deepened after working with the community as an employee. She’s fostered the growth of the Customer Experience organization from a fresh-faced group to a mighty organization. When Hurricane Sandy hit NYC, she was instrumental in the company's response and continues to be involved with company efforts in this space. She currently resides in San Francisco and is the Customer Experience Operations manager at Airbnb Headquarters, with a focus on Social Media.
