Krista is a
multi-disciplined, digital travel innovator and entrepreneur. She draws on more
than twenty years of executive leadership experience in the travel industry,
from startups to publicly traded companies, including her role as Global
Director and Head of Travel of Bing, a Microsoft Company where she led all
commercial aspects, evangelism and strategy for Bing Travel. She has led and
scaled global teams in sales and development, marketing + customer acquisition.
Most recently, Krista joined Lola.com where she oversees the company’s business
development and distribution strategy.
Prior to Lola.com she
was the COO of DuVine Cycling + Adventure responsible for the overall
day-to-day management and growth of the company. Krista was an executive team
member of the startup teams Farecast acquired by Microsoft and SmarterTravel
which was acquired by TripAdvisor. She also led travel at the New York Times
Digital (NYTd) after selling her company FareChase, the first travel metasearch
company to Yahoo! Krista was coined the first “Internet Travel Analyst” in 1999
and from that point on has been deeply immersed in the travel industry. Her
focus has been on the intersection of travel disruption, technology, search,
and customer experience.
